Mission

The Appalachian Homestead Network aims to:
- Provide educational resources, workshops, and hands-on training opportunities to help members develop homesteading skills and emergency preparedness techniques.
- Foster a network of support and collaboration among homesteaders, preppers, and like-minded individuals who are committed to self-sufficiency and resilience.
- Serve as a hub for sharing knowledge, experiences, and resources related to homesteading, emergency preparedness, sustainable living, and community building.

The Appalachian Homestead Network is a community-driven initiative dedicated to fostering self-reliance, sustainability, and resilience in the Northeast Georgia region. Formerly known as North Georgia CERN, our group has evolved from its roots in emergency preparedness to embrace a broader vision centered around homesteading practices.
Our network brings together individuals, families, and communities who share a common interest in homesteading, self-sufficiency, and emergency readiness. Through collaboration, education, and mutual support, we empower each other to thrive in both ordinary and extraordinary circumstances.
